MELINA MARINI
RESIDENT PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Melina Marini grew up in British Columbia, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics with a Minor in Psychology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MScPT) at the University of Toronto. Growing up, Melina was deeply involved in sports and trained as a competitive dancer, which fostered her appreciation for movement, discipline, and body awareness.
Before becoming a physiotherapist, she worked closely with individuals of all abilities as a community support worker, an experience that shaped her person-centered approach to care. These experiences continue to shape her approach to physiotherapy combining evidence-based practice with a focus on strength, mobility, and overall wellbeing.
Outside of the clinic, Melina enjoys staying active through dance, hiking, skiing and strength training. She also loves exploring new coffee shops, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
