Our Physiotherapists combine their knowledge of the body and how it works with specialized hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose and treat symptoms of illness, injury or disability. Our certified Athletic Therapists are experts in the prevention, immediate care, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. It involves the assessment and treatment of dysfunction caused by pain and/or injury in order to develop, maintain and maximize independence. They too can help guide you and design a customized exercise program based on your unique fitness goals and lifestyle requirements. Patients and clients range from individuals attending weekly strength and conditioning visits to individuals with physical injuries incurred from sports, recreational activities, accidents, activities of daily living and occupational stresses.



MEET OUR TEAM

 

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Angeli has a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University London, UK, and experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions across clinical, major trauma, and cardiac rehabilitation settings.

Her treatment plans combine hands-on manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, movement retraining, and patient education to help patients recover safely and effectively, improve strength and mobility, prevent future injuries, and achieve long-term functional outcomes. She is committed to creating personalized care plans that support each patient’s recovery goals and overall quality of life.

 

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Robert earned his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario in 2021 and has a strong interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries and conditions through movement-based rehabilitation.

He has completed advanced training in orthopedic physiotherapy, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), and is currently pursuing Advanced Movement Therapist (AMT) certification.

Robert has experience working with a wide range of patients, particularly in post-surgical rehabilitation, including total knee and hip replacement recovery.

 
 

 

ATHLETIC THERAPIST

Freya holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Toronto, an Honours Bachelor of Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College, and a Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Royal Canadian College of Massage.

She takes a holistic and individualized approach to treatment, focusing on identifying the root cause of injuries and creating personalized recovery plans through soft tissue therapy, assisted movement, taping, and rehabilitation exercises.

Freya also has experience supporting trans and non-binary patients, including care related to chest binding and recovery from gender-affirming surgeries, and is committed to providing inclusive, trauma-informed care in a safe and supportive environment.

 

ATHLETIC THERAPIST

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University, along with training in Athletic Therapy and Massage Therapy.

He has worked extensively with athletes at youth through international levels, with a focus on runners, lacrosse, and track and field, including experience at major events such as the Pan American Games and World Championships.

A former varsity athlete and coach himself, Kevin applies a strong understanding of sport demands in his treatment approach, using techniques like sports massage, deep tissue work, fascial stretching, trigger point therapy, and exercise-based rehabilitation to reduce pain, improve movement, and support performance.

 

ATHLETIC THERAPIST

Laura DiFranceso holds a degree in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College (2017) and a certification in Massage Therapy from The Royal Canadian College of Massage. They take a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, emphasizing the importance of considering both the body and mind in treatment.

Laura focuses on understanding each patient’s unique needs and creating individualized treatment plans that support recovery, movement, and overall well-being. They are also highly curious and committed to ongoing learning, regularly exploring new techniques and treatment philosophies to expand their practice and provide innovative, effective care that helps improve patient outcomes.
